Guppies are the easiest tropical fish that are keep and mantain given the right water parameters. The females are longer then the males by about a centimetre and they have less colourful tails. They are happy in a PH of 6.6 to 6.8. The best temperature you can give them is 22-25 °C (room temperature). You can feed them staple flake food but add some blood worms or some meaty foods occasionally but not always (will kill your fish). They do eat veggies in the wild. You can supply them blanched zucchini often. Note that the meaty and the veggie foods are not substitutes for flake food.
